My book writing career began in 2010 when my first book, Two Sons in a War Zone was published, and which will come as no surprise for you to learn, was bout my two sons have served in the British military in Afghanistan. Here we are just 11 years down the line and I am on the cusp of having my 50th book published. It has been an interesting and enjoyable journey, and one which has seen me meet and speak with many different and interesting people along the way. My writing has “opened a few doors” which may not have otherwise ever been opened, for that I am grateful.
In a day an age when it would appear that social media has become the biggest outlet and influence for what people read, write, think, and place any real importance on, it has been a privilege to have been able to write book after book in an effort to keep alive our history, and in doing so remind social media warriors and influencers, that is because of the blood, sweat and tears of those who came before them, that they can now enjoy the lives that they have. To each and everyone of you, I wish you continued health, happiness and all the very best for the future. Keep the peace.
