The Diary is a Novella which centres round a Second World War prisoner of war camp located in the leafy Essex countryside. The story is set in three parts. It starts during the war years, continues in the 1970’s and ends in 2012, when a woman suddenly dies. Her death allows a sixty-eight year old secret to be finally disclosed, but the secret in question does not belong to the person who everybody thinks it does, this changes everything.
